Make car journeys more comfortable
Road trips are great fun, but they can be long and hard going too. Especially if you are not feeling comfortable whilst you travel. Want to know how to make sure that your car journey is as comfortable as possible?
If you do, here are our top tips on making sure that your car journeys are more comfortable.
A cooling steering wheel cover
Hot weather and dark leather interiors do not go hand in hand, literally. Touching a boiling hot steering wheel is not a nice feeling in the short term but is even worse during a long journey. You can try and make things more comfortable to invest in a cooling gel steering wheel cover. This not only going to cool your hands down but will also be nice to hold onto the rest of the time too.
Organising Hooks
You don’t want to have to travel in a messy car for too long, whether it’s a luxurious MG or a basic mini. But, with so much to carry around in a car and have on you, you will need to find a way to keep things organised and neat.
There are several ways that you can do this, but one of the simplest ways to do this is to stick hooks onto your dashboard and interior, as this will allow you to keep things looking as tidy as possible.
Echo Auto
Music is a must-have during a long car journey, but you want to be able to have a playlist set up that you just let play, without having to worry about fiddling with CDs and taking your mind (and eyes) off of the road.
If you have Amazon music, then you can install echo auto on your phone to use in the car. This not only plays music and works with voice commands but also helps you to answer calls during the long journey too.
A headrest cushion
This one isn’t for the drivers; it is definitely aimed at the passengers in the car. There is no better feeling than being able to have a nap in the car, especially whilst someone else drives, so why not make yourself comfortable? A headrest cushion attaches to your standard headrest and allows the passengers in the vehicle to rest their head and get some shut-eye or just relax whilst you are traveling.
Clean air
Whilst you can have your windows open as you drive, this isn’t always an option if the air conditioning keeps it cooler. The trouble with this is that over time, the air will feel stale and may even start to smell, which means that you will need to find a way to clean the air. This is where a humidifier and scent diffuser for your car (yes, you read that right) that uses aux power to work can really help you.
Never fear that your car journey is going to be uncomfortable as well as long. These top tips will help you have the perfect road trip and ensure that you will feel as refreshed, relaxed and ready as possible when you reach your end destination.
