Powered by the same innovative 2.9-litre V6 Bi-Turbo petrol engine found in the Giulia Quadrifoglio, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio opts for a more SUV-suitable Q4 all-wheel drive system.
The result is unbeatable performance, traction, driving pleasure and safety in all situations. In normal conditions, the Q4 system transfers 100 percent of the torque to the rear axle. As the wheels approach their grip limit, the system transmits up to 50 percent of the torque to the front axle in real time, by means of a transfer case.
Results speak for themselves. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio set a new lap record at the legendary Nürburgring: 7 minutes 51.7 seconds. The mighty V6 engine develops maximum power and torque of 510PS and 600Nm respectively. 0-62mph is dealt with in a mind-boggling 3.8 seconds and on to a top speed of more than 176mph. This power plant is teamed with a specifically calibrated eight-speed automatic transmission that, in Race mode, shifts in just 150 milliseconds.
The Stelvio Quadrifoglio is equipped with the exclusive Alfa™ Chassis Domain Control unit, which acts as the brain to the DNA Pro selector, Q4 all-wheel drive, Active Torque Vectoring system, Active Suspension system and the ESC.
Safety specification includes a comprehensive offering of Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Integrated Braking System (IBS), Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and a rear-view camera with guide lines.
