Introducing The DS 3 Connected Chic Contactless Payment Car Key
In a UK first, DS Automobiles has teamed up with Barclaycard to bring a new form of contactless payment to its customers. The DS 3 Connected Chic Contactless Payment Car Key works much like contactless card and mobile payments – using the same RFID technology but on a top-up basis to allow for faster, safer, easier payments on purchases of £30 or under. Simply assign credit to your bPay wallet and you’re ready to spend.
How does it work?
The DS 3 Connected Chic Contactless Payment Car Key is managed by the accompanying bPay app. Available from Google Play and the App Store, you can use any Visa® or MasterCard® debit or credit card that is registered to a UK address. From the app you can track your spending and top-up your balance, as well as safely cancelling the contactless payment element if necessary.
The car key can be used to pay for any purchases of £30 or under, in any shops or establishments showing the contactless symbol.
How do I get it?
Customers purchasing a DS 3 Connected Chic before 31st December 2018 will qualify for the contactless car key, subject to application and Terms & Conditions. Once approved and activated within the bPay app, the payment chip that is embedded in the key is valid for a minimum of 3 years, and ready to use.
