Peugeot 508 wins carwow Style Award

The all-new Peugeot 508 has been presented with the Style Award at the 2018 carwow ‘Car of the Year’ awards.

The carwow Style Award recognises models which stand out above all others for their beauty or convention-defying style. The 508 fought off competition from the Aston Martin Vantage and Range Rover Velar to claim top prize.

The all-new 508 opened for orders in summer 2018, bringing a new sense of style to the D- segment. In addition, it feature class-leading levels of advanced driver assistance systems. Amongst these is a new night vision system, a first for its segment.

The interior design of the all-new Peugeot 508 is just as impressive as the exterior. It is equipped with the brilliant Peugeot i-Cockpit. This includes a compact steering wheel, large 10-inch touchscreen angled towards the driver and 12.3-inch digital instrument panel.

carwow praised the all-new 508 for providing a refreshing take on family cars, commenting: “Making a normal mainstream family car look this achingly beautiful both inside and out isn’t easy. But Peugeot has done it with the 508. It seems the French Firm’s design team can do no wrong right now.”

David Peel, Managing Director at Peugeot UK, said: “Having one of our most recent models recognised so early on in its time on the market is a huge compliment. Peugeot is constantly striving to provide drivers with models which are innovative, unique and eye-catching. The all-new Peugeot 508 has certainly proven itself as a car which motorists can’t help but stop and turn to catch a glimpse of.
