Sir Bradley Wiggins surprises Skoda customers

Sir Bradley Wiggins swapped two wheels for four as he surprised customers at Mitchell Skoda in Cheshire Oaks. Hidden cameras captured customers’ comical reactions as they unsuspectingly encountered the cycling icon at the local dealership. The Tour de France champion and Olympic gold medallist was invited to the Skoda retailer to delight customers who were taking a test drive of the seven-seater Kodiaq. This PR stunt builds on the successful advertising campaign for the Kodiaq centred around the cycling star.

Managing Director of Mitchell Skoda, Mark Mitchell, said: “Their reactions were brilliant. We knew our customers would be delighted with the experience as most of them are avid cycling fans and so it was a great moment to capture.”

Speaking of his time at the retailer, Sir Bradley Wiggins said: “I can’t say anyone was expecting to find me handing over their car keys or jumping in for a test drive – their reactions were priceless.”
