New Cupra Ateca arrives in the UK
We’re rather excited about the new @Cupraofficial #Ateca. If it’s as interesting to drive as it looks, it will be a hoot. It’s up at the top of our ‘to test’ wish list for 2019…

Read MoreWe like the looks of the @Hyundai_UK #Kona. Others may not: the looks are striking and split opinion. But with a 177PS turbo petrol engine and adaptive 4WD, it goes pretty well. With heaps of equipment it’s hard not to like it as a family car. If only there was more room in the back…
Read MoreEvery bit as bonkers as the last car, we love the @HondaUK #Civic Type R GT. On the down side, this Civic is a four-seater. However, the 6-speed manual with rev-matching is a gem. 320PS isn’t to be sniffed at either…

Read MoreSCORE – 48/50. The Audi S5 Sportback is fast, fun and makes a wonderful noise. It’s an easy car to live with, and one I could happily own. The styling is subtle and sophisticated on the outside, whilst the cabin is both luxurious and sporty. This, then, is a grown-up hot hatch.
Read MoreSCORE – 32/50. The SX4 S-Cross looks, I’m sorry, awful. Inside the no-frills cabin feels cheap, and the squeaks and rattles from the trim become a nuisance on a longer drive. On the other hand, the Boosterjet engine is a gem: the perfect blend of power and refinement for a car like the SX4 S-Cross.
