Read MoreSCORE – 45/50. It’s all too easy to get used to driving around in a Range Rover Sport. By the end of the week, I would have been quite happy to keep it. The styling is very much down to you: with so many colours, option packs and wheels to choose from.
Read MoreSCORE – 43/50. The ST badge is usually synonymous with performance, but I have to say that this diesel Focus is more ‘lukewarm’ than hot. But I think the concept works. The idea that you can have all the body kit, the lovely Recaro seats, whilst having a more sensible diesel.
Read MoreSCORE – 30/50. The Edge looks great on the outside, but the interior is far too bland and plasticky to be classed as premium. The suspension is too firm, and the 180PS engine too weak. That being said, the vastness of the car mean that it will carry five adults and luggage with ease.
Read MoreSCORE – 48/50. As far as a family car goes, the 3008 SUV is up there with the best of them. As a new dad myself, I found it brilliant, and certainly a car I’d consider buying. The compact SUV market may be crowded, but the Peugeot 3008 SUV just upped the ante. i-Cockpit? i-Like-it.

Read MoreSCORE – 50/50. The Volvo S90 is, in my eyes, perfect. From the sleek, sculpted lines of the exterior, to every last piece of plastic and walnut in the cabin, the S90 oozes quality. The engines are great: balancing performance with efficiency in delightful harmony, and offering AWD capability and composure.
Read MoreSCORE – 47/50. This second generation XF is brilliant: it has that “Jaaaaag” swagger whilst adding the latest technology to make it better to live with. The revised styling ditches the curves for a sharper, more angular look. The Ingenium engines are great, and with optional AWD the XF is more capable than ever.
Read MoreSCORE – 49/50. The F-Pace looks aggressive, and the styling nods nicely to the mighty F-Type coupe. It bolsters the Jaguar model line-up, and the S model showcases Jaguar’s sporting pedigree, literally putting the “S” in SUV.
Read MoreSCORE – 43/50. I think the Optima Sportswagon looks better than the saloon, especially with the sporty styling of the GT-Line S. The engine is still underpowered, but the DCT gearbox is a big improvement. What makes the Sportswagon desirable is the comprehensive equipment list.
