4 Great ways to upgrade your car

If you want to make sure that your car’s performance is the best it can be then you have come to the right place. A lot of people can’t afford to go out and buy a new car with all of the features they want, and this is understandable. Upgrading the car you have now is a very valid option, even if you are on a budget. If you want to find out more then take a look below.

Choose great tyres

One of the best and most obvious upgrades you can choose for your car would be for you to get some better tyres. Performance and power might be great, but if you do not have the grip that comes with great tyres then this will work against you.

If you want your car to perform well in any weather condition then you should know that all-weather tyres will compromise your car’s parameters in terms of performance. If you choose summer tyres and winter tyres however then this will give you the grip you need and at the same time, it will allow you to get the most out of your car’s power.

Upgrade your brakes

One of the most important factors when it comes to your car’s performance is its ability to stop properly. The better your brakes are, the longer you can wait before you have to engage them. You will also be able to maintain a higher speed than your competitors.

It doesn’t matter whether you want to buy some better brake pads or whether you want to upgrade your entire system, because this is certainly worth your time and money.

Cold air intake

It is a known fact that if your car breathes better, it can run better. If you install a cold air intake then this will free up the general air flow to your engine. It will also feed it cooler and more condensed air. If you replace your intake pipe with one that is able to prioritise power then this will help you out a lot in the long run. Swap your rubber hose

Another thing you can do is swap out the rubber hose you have for one that is better quality. It has never been easier for you to get a silicone hose for your car. When you compare silicone to rubber, you will soon see that silicone has a much higher heat tolerance.

If you were to add a turbocharger to your engine and you do not upgrade your hose, then you may be driving heat to a hose that isn’t actually able to handle it.  Rubber hoses are also very prone to cracking, rot or even stiffness.

The great thing about silicone is that it can be used for just about any purpose and it’s great in any model of car, so you should absolutely be investing in it if you can.
